Giant Class

My name is Miss Perrier and I am the class teacher of Year 5.

This year, Giant class is fortunate to be supported by Miss Dale, as well as other members of our Aylesford team. Our classroom is upstairs, in Upper Key Stage 2, near our fabulous computing suite. I believe we have the best classroom because of the wonderful views across our school field.

Year 5 Curriculum

We have an exciting Spring Term ahead, filled with lots of fabulous learning opportunities.

During the Spring Term, our topic is ‘If the World Were a Village’, where we will be exploring what the world’s demographics would look like if we could reduce the global population to a village of precisely 100 people and consider various factors in microcosm. We will also compare countries in The Americas (North, Central and South America) to the UK. As always, we will be taking a cross-curricular approach to our learning and exploring this topic through many other areas of the curriculum.
