Exceptional students at Aylesford School Warwick are celebrating after receiving their A Level grades today.

The sixth form students at the school, have been working incredibly hard over the past two years and their commitment has been reflected in their results.

The students’ successes have enabled many of them to secure places at their chosen universities.

While we are proud of all our young people, there have been some impressive individual performances. These include:

  • Hugo Walsh who successfully achieved 2 A*s in Maths and Physics, with an A in Further Maths; successfully securing his place to study Physics and Astrophysics at Manchester University.
  • Molly Turner who gained an A* in Art and two further A grades to win a place to read Fine Art at Bristol University.
  • Sam Duns with an A* in Mathematics, an A in Physics and a B in Further Maths to read Physics at Warwick University.
  • Lucy Bicknell our Deputy Sixth Form Student Leader who has successfully achieved her goal to study Sport and Exercise Science at Loughborough University. Lucy has contributed so much to the positive spirit of our school community and has been an inspiration to her peers.
  • Polly O'Sullivan who has shown so much drive and determination; completing her studies by gaining an A* in History to achieve her dream of studying Spanish at Oxford University.

Tim Hodgson, Headteacher at Aylesford School Warwick, said:

“Our A-Level students have shown incredible resilience and determination. Their success is not only a reflection of their own hard work but also of the unwavering support from our dedicated staff and the wider school community. These results open the door to many exciting opportunities, and we are confident that our students are well-prepared to take the next steps in their education and careers. We are particularly proud of those who have overcome personal challenges to achieve their goals, embodying the school’s values of ambition, resilience, and kindness.”
